In certain industries, such as law enforcement and the military, it's crucial to have proper illumination in order to carry out the duties of the job. However, standard halogen lights are prone to burning out in a short amount of time and failing to help professionals in the industry.
As more military and law enforcement officials look for a viable lighting solution, Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com has announced the development of a new LED fixture to solve the problem. The HML-5M-LED Handheld LED Spotlight is designed to provide a strong light using a low amount of energy for tactical purposes.
"[The product] does not require bulb replacement for at least 50,000 hours," said Rob Bresnahan, a representative from Larson Electronics' Magnalight.com. "With much lower amp draw, this light produces more range and coverage than our standard 24V 70 watt bulb or our 12V 100W bulb configuration."
Larson Electronics is renowned for producing a wide range of LED lights, designed to reduce energy consumption while providing strong illumination.
Many homeowners are already investing in LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs in their living spaces. Because they use less energy, LEDs can help reduce utility bills over time.
