There are a number of different options to choose from when it comes to brightening up a space, but more people are turning to LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs to reduce their carbon footprints. LED lights are not only versatile, but they come in a wide variety of colors as well.
Recently, the Lighting Science Group announced the development of a new LED fixture that is bound to improve working conditions in commercial areas. The high performance BayLight is designed to provide an ample amount of light in large spaces, such as warehouses, at a fraction of the energy used by incandescents and fluorescents.
"The design and development that went into the new BayLight is reflective of the commitment and dedication that goes into every new product developed here at Lighting Science Group. The product provides more efficient light output than typical competitors' products," said Jim Haworth, chairman and chief executive officer of Lighting Science Group.
LED rope lights, string lights and bulbs are growing in popularity for a number of reasons. As more manufacturers continue to produce them, the cost is dropping. They can also help reduce electricity costs over time.
