This RGB Neon LED rope light is the right choice of lighting. With so many options of color-changing you could use this lighting to have the colors chasing or keep one color one day and change it the next. If the 148 feet is more than you need in your project you can cut this at every 19.5" intervals. Just look for the marking on these to know exactly where you can cut them. Any extra use somewhere else to light up behind your TV or under cabinets or attach to your bed frame. Be creative in using this lighting and make others wish they had the cool effect you do. Combine these lights with additional RGB neon rope light accessories for customized runs.
Each Spool Includes:

- (1) Pre-installed Plastic End Cap
- (1) Outdoor Multi-Function RGB Controller
NOTE:
- We strongly recommend the use of a surge protector with our rope lights.
- All connections must be sealed with a weatherproof heat tape kit when installing rope lights outdoors.
- To avoid damaging your lighting and the possible fire risk, completely unspool lights before connecting to power.
- Prior to cutting or modifying your lights, we recommend testing the light output and color for your project. Failure to test before altering a product may result in the inability to return or exchange your purchase.
- Lights are not supposed to be kept on 24 hours a day. Leaving them on 24/7 can cause them to overheat, shorten their lifespan, and is not covered under warranty. Please turn lights off for a couple of hours each day.

are these Truly color chasing rainbow or only 1 color at a time?
This one you can't do any chasing effects. You can only change one color at a time or you can have it flash and fade, but it would go from one color to the other on those effects. You can control the speed of the flash or fade with the multifunction controller that has the RF remote.
This one is not UL listed.
